About a month ago, I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down for nearly an hour and a half with the one and only Jo Coddington, wife of the late, great Boyd Coddington, and I'm telling you, this is one conversation you're going to want to listen to from beginning to end.
Jo takes us back into the world of Boyd Coddington and shares stories about the hot rod and custom truck world, the incredible people who were part of it, and some of the history behind those legendary builds.
She even gives us a little sneak peek behind the curtain of what it was really like when they were filming the hit television show American Hot Rod. What was happening around the shop, what life was like with the cameras rolling, the people involved, and memories from an era of hot rodding that so many of us grew up watching.
And yes, we also get into Tony Hunter's incredible C10, a truck built by Boyd Coddington and Little John. From some of what Jo shared during our conversation, there may even be a Chip Foose connection to this truck. I'm not giving the whole story away here—you'll have to listen to Jo tell it herself!
