Episode Notes

"He shaped the Hot Rod community, but he also shaped my career."

I’m sharing a story I feel I owe to the fans. While we live and breathe C10 trucks here, you can’t talk about the culture without acknowledging the giants who paved the way.

In Part 1 of "My Boyd Story," I’m taking you back to where the inspiration started. I’m also sharing a very personal moment from the 2018 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, where I had the chance to meet Boyd’s wife, Jo Coddington. Jo is a total sweetheart, and telling her face-to-face how much Boyd’s influence shaped my life and career was a moment I'll never forget.

On this episode:

Morning Update: What’s on the horizon for the day and the latest from the C10 America Studio.

The SEMA Connection: Meeting Jo Coddington and the emotional conversation that solidified a bond with the Coddington legacy.

The Foundation: How those early experiences and Boyd's advice started to shape the man and the designer I am today.

I’m leaving you with a major cliffhanger today because what Boyd told me—the stuff that really shifted my focus—is coming in Part 2. Tomorrow's episode will be a little longer, and you definitely don't want to miss it.

Sit back, relax, and check out Part 1. See you tomorrow for the conclusion.

C10 America: Real Trucks. Real Stories. Real America.
